Ernie Klassen has been a proud White Rock resident since 2000, when he brought his floral business, Ashberry and Logan, The Art of Flowers, into the heart of the community. Since then, Ernie has become a tireless advocate for families, local businesses, and inclusive community growth.

His leadership is rooted in service—supporting organizations like The Coldest Night of the Year, White Rock Pride Society, UNITI, Sources, and the White Rock City Orchestra. He’s also helped strengthen the local economy through the White Rock Business Improvement Association and the White Rock/South Surrey Chamber of Commerce.

Elected to White Rock City Council in 2022, Ernie brings a well-rounded perspective as a small business owner, husband, father, grandfather, and long-time community leader.

Now, he’s ready to bring that same passion and dedication to Ottawa under the liberal banner—because South Surrey–White Rock deserves a strong voice that truly understands the people who live here.
